Grandma and Grandpa's 50th Wedding Anniversary

The same day we picked up my brother from the airport we had a party that night for my grandparents 50th anniversary. They thought that it was for Ben coming home. We sure trick them. My aunt Jean made a cool DVD of pictures throughout their lives some of them I have never seen before. It was really cool. The one picture I will never forget was of my grandpa in a swim suit and he had just got out of the Army so he was really buff and my grandma had on shorts I have never seen my grandma's legs before. It was really funny. I'm excited because they are going to add more pictures to it. They were not able to add a ton because of time and trying to get pictures from them while also trying to keep a secrete was pretty hard. Also we were able to get a new family picture. Right before we ate dinner we took a family picture and my aunt Molly went straight to COSCO instead of eating dinner to go get it printed so that my grandparents could have a new giant family photo. They didn't even notice that Molly was gone so it work out perfectly. All of my dad's siblings including him talk of memories and different things about my grandparents. When they were talking about childhood memories it made think that when my parents 50th anniversary comes I will be 50 and I don't know if I will be able to remember a lot so I figure I should write some down now so I don't forget by then. My aunt Jean said that our grandparents are truly a wonderful example to us because they have been married a half of a century and that's something to be proud of.

My Brother's Finally HOME!

Well my little brother is finally home from is mission in Mexico. It felt like he was never going to come down the walk way. Then he finally arrived. He is so cute he had a hard time with his language. My mom was so very excited. He was surprised to see how prego Brittany is. My little sister was crying as if he was leaving. It was funny because my mom didn't even cry. My sisters friends made this awesome banner for my brother and everyone at the airport that walked by had to read it. A lot of my family came including cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and some of my brothers favorite friends. My sister's husband had to work so he wasn't able to see Ben till later on. My mom told me the night before Ben was coming home that he called to get more money because his luggage was too heavy. Well when we were at baggage claim my husband was trying to carry his bag and it was super heavy. Then my dad wanted to try to carry it. It was really funny because their veins in their forehead and neck were like popping out. When he got home later on he showed us why it was so heavy. He bought a lot of leather to make book cases, belts, and chaps. I know that's my brother for you. We all went to lunch because we couldn't get a hold of President Solomon to release him. So we went to Red Robin. My sister Brittany tried to eat a cheese burger and couldn't finish because being prego she has lost room to eat. So don't worry it didn't go to waste. My brother the garbage disposal is back and he ate all of his food plus my sisters burger. I am so glad to have him back we missed him a lot. After we finished eating we went down to President Solomon's office which was so cool. He works at the Basha's Corporation Office. When we got there he took Ben back to his office and he told us to go and check out the museum. We thought he was joking. But it was so cool. Apparently Eddie Basha has a huge collection of art and sculptures. So we check that out for a while it was so neat. He has so many paintings that he had to put them in his Corporate office. I suggest if you want something different to do to go check it out. It is free and its off of Basha and Occitillo in Chandler. It was a very fun filled day and very exciting for everyone.

Easter

I love holidays. I am so grateful that I have so much family. The first picture is Lynsey, Amy, and me. Just before dinner. The second picture is of all the children waiting to go hunt for eggs. The next picture is all of my family that was there that night. Brittany and Eric were not there because Brittany was in charge of Easter dinner at her in laws. And Ben is still in Mexico. The next picture is of my father and his brothers and sisters. I think it will be fun when I get older to be able to take pictures with my siblings. The next picture is of just the brothers. The next picture is of my grandpa and my great grandpa. The next is all of the cousins except those who were not there from my family. The next picture is of my dad's family including my great grandpa. The last picture is Steven and I being goofy. I think it is awesome that I have a camera to capture all of these fun memories. It was a crazy day but it was worth it.Sorry about all the weird descriptions but I do this because of journaling purposes.

Good Friday!

Well Good Friday this year was spent as a ladies day out we went to one of our favorite restaurants Mi Amigos. We had a lot of fun and then later on I was fortunate to have my work come to my moms house. So we all got to play with the kids I take care of. Thanks mom for a great meal. It is cool to make new traditions happen.

Final Football Game

It was time for the final game and GoDaddy were in good spirits. As the game went along it turn for the worse. The team had a lot of fun this season and are already has signed up for next season. Since it was only the first time they have played before they are hoping next season turns out better than the first. Thanks to all that came to his games and supported him it meant alot.

Conference Weekend

Wow I am a little behind. Conference weekend was so much fun and very uplifting. My cousins came into town from Utah. I am trying to get better with taking pictures so the first picture is on the way to granny's house Lynsey was watching Allie because Mindy had clinicals all day. I was with them because my husband was at work all day. The next picture is all of the middle girls in the family. Then next picture is of my cousins playing a game. While we were hanging out the little kids decided to "shave" balloons. My aunt says that her son does it all the time they take a balloon and make a face on it and then they take saving cream and put it on the balloon and then take a knife and "shave", it was really cute. Then a little while later the kids dyed Easter eggs. Well the vinegar they used smelled really strong, which explains the last picture. All the kids were plugging their noses. I feel so blessed to have a family to hangout with.

This is our new family picture, it is kind of hard to see but it is really great. It was really hard to get but thanks to an excellent photographer we were able to make it work. If you want his number just ask. He was awesome. Anyone that can make my three dogs at freestone park with a million ducks everywhere and my dogs try to get the ducks is amazing.

Great Grandpa's Birthday

Well my Great Grandpa turned 96 year old. It was a crazy party there was tons of people. We normally have his party at the park because there is so many people but this time my grandpa is not doing to good so he wanted it at his house. My great aunt Diana made this awesome cake if you can't tell what it looks like it is a old man in a hunting outfit and a gun. The video is of us singing happy birthday to him and my husband was the one with the camera so sorry if the video is all over the place and the end is crazy because the candle wouldn't light. I feel very blessed that I am able to have grandparents as well as great grandpa. A lot of people I know say that they never even met their grandparents. I hope that my parents can live to be great grandparents because it has been so amazing to be with my great grandpa and grandma.

2nd to Last Game

Well its heading to the end of the season and GoDaddy unfortunately lost again. But it is all good it is a great learning experience for all of them. I thought I had pictures for it but I guess I must have erased them. Hopefully I will get some good shots at the last game. And hopefully they will be able to win.
The foster care classes are still going good. You wouldn't believe all the homework that they make us do. I guess that's why they call it a class. We only have 6 more classes to go yeh!
