Game Day Update

GoDaddy and Steve had another game on wendsday. They played a team called the Smoking Gunz. It was a fun game to watch everyone on the GoDaddy team was so happy to be there and seemed to be having the time of their lives. GoDaddy won the game 13-6. Steve plays as the center so he is the one who hikes the ball back to the quarterback. Well during the game GoDaddy was going for a touch down and the guy was running with the ball and got surrounded just before he was takin down he pitched it backwards to none other than Steve. The sidelines exploded with cheers and Steve tried to get into the in zone but as luck would have it couldnt. It was so fun and great to see how they cheer each other on so much. There is only two games left then they have a 4 month break and start all over again. We also had another foster care class on Tuesday. We will be finished and certified in May and our hoping we can have a child in our home soon after. we are really hoping that we will get a little one that we can adopt very quickly. we are so depressed that we have not been able to have a child yet and cant wait to finally have that joy in our lives.

Update!

Stevens game was at 6:20 and he barley made it in time running onto the field as the first play was in progress. He was able to get his gear and out into the field for the next play and two plays later they scored a TD . The defense did great stopping the other team dead in there tracks and GoDaddy came out and scored again. As luck would have it by the end of the game we ended the game with a tie. We also had are second week of foster care training. Lots of fun they showed a video with foster kids in it who talked about there experiences in foster care and it was enough to bring a tear to your eyes. It was so sad to see what these kids have to go through and reminded us of why we are there. We hope you enjoy the video its of one of the plays during the game. Next week they have a bi week so no game but we will keep you in the loop for the next game.

The Late Game

Steven's game this week was at 9:40 at night. I know late especially when he had to wake up the next day at 4. Well unfortunately they lost but they did score first. It really doesn't matter it's just fun. We start the foster care classes this Tuesday and we are so excited. I am collecting clothes so that we can be prepared for anything. We are certifying from 0-6 years old so if anyone has clothes or toys that you need to get rid of let us know we will take it off your hands for you. The agency said that we will never know if we will get a boy or a girl and if it is an infant or a 6 year old so we will see what will happen. Hopefully we will be able to adopt some of these precious kids that come into our homes. We know we still have a long rough road ahead but we can't wait. This video is a little glimpse of what his games our like. This was my little sister's camera because I forgot mine so the lighting is totally horrible. Hopefully next week I can take better pictures. If anyone wants to come to his next game it is Wednesday at 7:20 at Riverview park on the northwest corner of Dobson and 8th cross the street from Bass Pro Shop. If you do come make sure you bring a chair because its just grass.
