My Grandpa Charley

My sister, aunt Joy, aunt Beanie, and me.
This is a picture of cement that is in front of his house. It has my grandpa and his wife Janice's initials carved in. I thought it was really cute.
My dad, sister, uncle sid, and my cousin Sam.
This has my aunts and my sister.
This is a close up of the picture that was on his shirt.
My grandpa's best friend made these Charles Edward Fan club shirts. He is so cute.
His bowling wall.
He was a real handsome guy.
This is one of his records.
This is a picture of him playing in the bar. Can you believe as a kids we would go and see him all the time and yes that is a naked lady behind him.
This has both of my sisters, my uncle sid and aunt Jeanette, my aunt Joy, my aunt Tobby, some of my grandpa's friends from his neighborhood.
This picture you can see my mom, Glenn my mom's step brother who lived with my grandpa up until he died, and my sister Lynsey.
This was a picture of when my grandpa was in the military.
At the old Rawhide they had a lot of fun places to get your picture taken. I haven't been to the new one yet I think that it would take away the good memories.
He was in the paper.
Here was a poster from when he used to play at Rawhide. He looks so handsome.
There was an amazing artist that drew a portrait of him. It is pretty big and he left it to my mom when he died.
My grandpa Charley died and we had a little memorial service at his house. Here are a couple of pictures from his house and of the people that were there. I really miss him I wish I would of had the opportunity to say goodbye but I know I will get to see him again someday soon and I am sure he is up with the angels singing with his amazing voice. I am so blessed to be able to have a copy of his CDs. I remember when I was a kid we used to go to the bar to him sing and we would get 7up and we thought we were so cool because we were like the only kids in the bar. He sang at Rawhide for 30 years. I love you grandpa.

August Birthdays

Ok so my husband was the one with the camera. So there is only two pictures. We got to celebrate my brother n law Eric's, my sister Lynsey's, my cousin Cami's, my Grandma's, and my birthday. We had so many good cakes. When singing the birthday song it sounded really funny having everyone trying to say all the names. We have the same problem in April when there is another bunch of birthdays. I am so grateful that I come from such an awesome family heritage. I wish that my husband new his cousins, aunts, and uncles like I know mine. We get together the third Sunday of every month if not more if there is holidays or special occasions. Well one of the pictures is Lynsey and my brother n law is in the corner and the other is me and Cami and some of the other cousins. I can't believe I am turning 27 this month. Steven is turning 30 next year and I am very close. I always thought that my life would be so different when I was a kids seeing my parents, aunts, uncles, cousin they seemed like so much older and now I am that old I don't even feel like I am that old. Well I guess we can't stay in neverland forever. We all have to grow up sometime.

Hello Craziness!

Well life has been so crazy lately. We have been blessed with two foster kids. They are both girls four and five and have crazy schedules. I thought I would never have this problem of running around nonstop. The girls have mom visits on Mondays. Tuesdays we are supposed to be able to relax but for some reason we always have something going on. Wednesdays is piano days even though the four year old is really not doing it. Thursdays is gymnastics. It is their favorite day of the week. After picking up after school we come home do some homework have a snack and off to the gym. They ask for gymnastics day like everyday. I wish that I was a millionaire to be able to take them all the time. They burn so much energy and come out drenched in sweat. I know gross but it is less energy that I have to use to help them burn energy I just sit in the lobby. Wednesdays and Fridays are our crazy days. This is when I have to take both girls to two different schools. Then off to work for me. Then I have to pick both girls up and it just feels like the day never ends because we always have to do something. Like yesterday was Friday and we didn't get home till like 5:30 because I had to get the girls after school, go to the bank, stop by my chiropractor, go to the store to pick up some ingredients for dinner. Phew it makes me tired just talking about it. It has been fun, really crazy but fun. It is nice to have some company even though sometimes they can be a bit loud. We are looking into getting the girls into soccer soon even though I hate soccer but it is so good for the girls to burn energy. I wish I could have a pinch of their energy. I never thought I would be like mom in someways when it comes to parenting but I am. Pretty much I think I am actually stricter than my mom sometimes. But these sweet girls have come from a place where they had no structure at all. It is kind of hard for the girls to get used to having rules but they are coming around. I wish I could post pictures but since these kids are the state's I can't post them. My birthday is coming up and we are having my grandma's, my cousin Cami, my sister Lynsey, and my birthday at my grandmas house tomorrow night. So pictures are to come. On my husbands side we will be having a party for my sister-n-law Lara, my twin nephews Elijah and Isaiah, and me. So it should be a good month. As for the craziness I doubt it's going to slow down anytime soon because I went to the invetro doctor last week. So my body is going to be poked and praded soon. Hope this time works better.

My dad and his horses

My dad is so funny I forgot about these pictures but my dad went to Colorado with my husband and my brother. They were supposed to go get one horse. They ended up coming back with way more than one in fact they left Colorado with 4 horses. One stayed at my brothers house. The other three were a one year and a mom of one of the other horses that my dad has and then they discovered that mom had a baby. They are really cute. So my dad now has a total of 7 horses in his backyard. He has two horses at my brothers house. It is so funny how my dad used to be in to pigeons the smallest animal to horses that are huge.

July Birthdays

Clancy is such a cheese if you say "cheese" he will smile and pose for you.
Opening my presents
Hello can't you see I'm busy here
After my first birthday cake. It is a horrible picture but he had it everywhere.
They couldn't get the candle to blow out.
Steven and some of the other cousins.
Lighting the candles on everyone's cake.
Steven looks so happy in this picture I just wish the quality of the picture could have been better.
Well the pictures are horrible because I forgot my camera and had to use my phone. But in July we had my cousin Sebrina and sister Brittany and her baby Clancy, and my hubby. It was lots of cake and ice cream. My grandpa counted how many people were in the house and there was a total of 32 people there. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful extended family and thankfully live so close.

The Clancers

Grandma Joy bought me a cell phone!
Clancy got burnt on the side of his head.
Clancy wouldn't stop playing with my mom's glasses and when he put them on he looked like a bug. He is so funny.
Clancy always wants outside with the animals.
